Privacy Policy

What we collect

Nothing. We do not receive your records, your name, your email address, your device identifiers, your location or any usage statistics. There is no account to create.

Where your records live

Everything you log (time, duration, shape, color, mood, notes and so on) is saved in the app's storage on your own device.

If iCloud is enabled for your Apple Account, your records also sync through your private iCloud database so they appear on your other devices. That database belongs to your Apple Account. It is encrypted in transit and on Apple's servers, and we have no way to open it. Apple's handling of iCloud data is described in Apple's own privacy policy.

Records you make on Apple Watch are sent directly to your paired iPhone and are also synced through the same iCloud database.

Location

PooTime! asks for your location only so it can attach a place to a record and show it on the in-app map. This is optional. You can decline the permission, or turn off GPS in the app's settings at any time, and everything else keeps working.

Coordinates are stored with the record, on your devices and in your iCloud, like the rest of your data. The map itself is drawn by Apple Maps, which means Apple receives the map area being displayed, as it would for any app that shows a map.

Purchases

Memberships are bought through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your card or billing details. The app keeps a record of whether you are a member on your device so it can unlock features.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your device by the app itself. Nothing is sent from a server, and reminders are off until you turn them on.

Third parties

The app uses only Apple's own services: iCloud for sync, the App Store for purchases and Apple Maps for the map. It includes no third-party SDKs, analytics tools or advertising.

Deleting your data

You can delete any record in the app. Deleting the app removes its data from that device. To remove the synced copy, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then iCloud, then Manage Account Storage, and delete PooTime!'s data.

This website

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics scripts. Like any site, the hosting provider keeps standard server logs.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
